I Just found this article from yahoo webpage. Hmmm, alam sekitar dah mula bertindak balas!!!. Puncanya? pelbagai, ada faktor semulajadi, dan ada faktor manusia. Tapi kesian plak tengok polar bear-polar bear tu, hilang kecomelannya. Mesti salah satu dialog antara diorang, "Eh korang, lihat bulu ku, cantik tak? Ini fesyen terbaru, fesyen musim ini!!!" ...
[TOKYO - Green polar bears are drawing questions from puzzled visitors at a Japanese zoo. Three normally white polar bears at Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens in central Japan changed their color in July after swimming in a pond with an overgrowth of algae.
The sight of green polar bears has prompted many questions from visitors concerned about whether the animals are sick or carrying mold, zoo official Masami Kurobe said Sunday.
The sight of green polar bears has prompted many questions from visitors concerned about whether the animals are sick or carrying mold, zoo official Masami Kurobe said Sunday.
"Visitors seem to be shocked by the color, and we are asked every day why they are so green,"
he said.
High temperatures in July and August and less-frequent water changes because of the zoo's conservation efforts caused an algae growth in the bear pond and safety moat, Kurobe said.
Algae that enters hollow spaces in the bears' fur is hard to rinse off, he said.
The bears are expected to return to their natural color when the algae growth subsides in November, Kurobe said.]
Aku suka warna bulu polar bear, putih-bersih..tapi kalo dah warna hijau??? dah jadi macam mentibang pulak!!! Huhuhuhuh...

incek janggel..cik yanie nak sekor pola bear nih...he he he nak wat bantal pelok...
ReplyDelete(^_^)
Boleh..boleh cik Yanie, nanti cikjanggel tambat kat belakang kete cikyanie..
ReplyDeletekesian nyer la..kena pakai klorox plak..abis alga melekat kat bulu..tak maintain kolam la tu..byk algae..BOD tinggi tu..hehehehe. kesian ler polar bear skrang..aku ada artikel dlm Nat.geog. diaorg asyik mati lemas..especially babies sbb iceberg dah byk cair & bila diaorg berenang jauh takde tmpat nak landing..so terus berenang jauh lagi hingga penat & lemas...pasal kita jugak la iceberg semakin kurang..that's global warming..and that's the reality
ReplyDeleteYup... Global Warming mendatangkan pelbagai masalah lain..semua berpunca dari manusia.... Dah la kandungan BOD tinggi, pastu dah tak comel dah pulok... sian kat beruang2 kutub tuh..huhuhuuh...
ReplyDeleteyup. actually, polar bears in spore botanical zoo pon mengalami nasib yg sama. At least those polar bears in japanese zoo became green time musim panas. Tapi, yg duduk spore?! hijau sepanjang tahun! tak ke kesian namanye?
ReplyDeleteIsu ni pernah dijadikkan kes sampai animal lovers in spore demand the polar bears be sent back to their natural habitat.
Tapi, nak dijadikkan citer, those bears were born dlm captivity.
They don't have the skills to survive in the wild.
Nak tak nak, manusia kena bertanggung jawab jugak la kan? At least, kena train bear2 nie 'kemahiran hidup' sebelum dilepaskan.
but, thinking of the current condition kat kutub utara, where polar ice caps are shrinking due to global warming, I think lambat laun, white polar bears might be a rarity...
what do u think?
Oooo about yang kat singapore tu saya tak pernah dongar pulak but memang kesian kan kat polar bears tuh... sepanjang tahun menghadapi keadaan sebegitu..
ReplyDeleteLagi masalah bile depa semua bukan semulajadi lia, jinak-jinak merpati. Memang susah la nak hantaq balik p kutub.
And one more thing, at kutub sekarang pun dah jadi masalah jugak sebab polar2 bears tu banyak yang mati lemas [macam yang disebut oleh mis beatufullife]. Andaikata perkara ni berterusan, kemungkinan polar bear akan pupus... kesian kan.
Nak fight global warming seumpama sesuatu yang mustahil but kita boleh melambatkannya dengan pelbagai cara. Antaranya ~ Hentikan Pencemaran!
hijau pon lawo apa.. nsb baik tak tukar jadi polka dot merah unggu.. lagi haruuu
ReplyDeleteHuhuhu [cik saya] kalau dah hijo tu bukan beruang kutub ler namanya, jadi beruang khatulistiwa.. gheee.
ReplyDeletehentikan pencemaran.
ReplyDeleteEasier said than done...
Hmm, how bout we start by setting the aircond temp to 28 degrees C for a change. Less electricity used, less money paid, less coal/gas burnt to generate electricity means less CO2 released to the atmosphere, means less global warming.
Yup.. kalau cakap memang semuanya senang, tapi bile nak buat, keluarlah beribu-ribu alasan dan kekangan.
ReplyDeleteKat Malaysia ni nak bubuh aircond temp sampai 28 degree tak dapek la cik suzu, kang ada yang mengadu mati kelemasan pulak. tambah2 kat Putrajaya ni, semuanya bertutup.
Tapi like u said, kami memang dah increasekan temp aircond di pejabat from 16 to 23 degrees. Atleast something was done .....from the Agencies who protect the environment! heheheh..
uishhh comel gak bear nih walaupon kale ijau..hiks.. :p
ReplyDeleteTidaaaaaaakkkkkk, tak comel!!!!!
ReplyDeleteair cond temp raised to 26 degrees won't make people 'mati kelemasan' lah. Tell those people yg claim 'nazak' tu to use their brain to come up with more creative ways to combat global warming, rather than thinking up of 'creative' excuses not to do so.
ReplyDeleteapa2 pon, still a commendable effort on the Agency's part in raising the air cond temp from 16(!) to 23 degrees. Bravo...but still can improve further.
Raise air cond temp. Lemas? has anyone forgotten about windows? they're not installed there sebagai perhiasan, kan? open them up and allow natural breeze to flow. Natural ventilation and good air circulation helps disperse dusts, unwanted smell, etc. It also helps prevent condensation.
Apa guna persekitaran taman di Putrajaya tu kalau all tu if people only wants to appreciate nature through a looking glass?
Wear something that suits the environment better. Forget those expensive suits and unnecessary neck ties. If the Japs can leave their neckties at home for nature's sake, why can't we? All those are mat saleh imports. Pakailah batik. More Malaysian kan? Lebih seswaii ngan Msian tropical environment, kan?
Push the Agency to force all government buildings to use energy saving bulbs, sensors and come up with energy saving guidelines (maybe dah ada) and targets for all government buildings. These items might cost a bit more, but kalau beli pukal, gerenti bolah negotiate diskaun. Malaysia Mega Sale, kan?
Hmm...byk lak pot pet nyer.
PS-I agree with you. Green Polar Beras, aren't cute!
Huhuhuhu tingkap memang banyak tapi tak boleh bukak. All dah di lock [jenis cermin pasang siap] and i dont know sapa punya idea yang nak buat macam tu.
ReplyDeletepakai batik... skang ni pun i tengah pakai baju batik hehehhee. But for gov. servent memang kene pakai batik every thursday.
Tingkap byk tapi takleh bukak?!!! OMG, sapelah arkitek dia nie? budak darjah 3 ke? ke org asal Kutub Utara?! (just wanna stick to the Polar issues. hehe) Betul ke nie?
ReplyDeleteHmm...maybe I boleh 'market' our window products next time I balik Msia? Natural aluminum air vents. Can still allow natural air circulation without opening those windows. Its also being marketed as one of our 'environmental friendly' products.
Amacam? Interested?
Hmm...why restrict batik to only thursdays? why not evryday? Come up with a distinct design for each ministry. Seragamkan.(I suggest your Agency choose Green...warna alami, gituh) So senang client (rakyat marhain cam I nie la) nak bezakan samada org gomen ke idak. Also good coz senang nak report kalau ada org gomen yg dok mengular. hehehe.
BTW, for your info, Gomen workers in certain negeris in Japan are required to wear 'aloha' shirts every working days in summer. More practical.
wah aloha??? best tuh.. Yup luckily diorang ada jugak tingkap untuk jengok keindahan luar bangunan..macam my room nih, ibarat di dalam stor padi, takda tingkap langsung, dikelilingi dinding-dinding je. huhuhu sedih.. I think u should market ur product here la hehehe.
ReplyDeleteBatik setakat ni only for thursday and special occasion jer. belum dikuatkuasakan lagi untuk sepenuh masa. almaklum jelah, batik kat mesia ni mahal2. Banyak orang gomen yang tak mampu nak beli (huhuhu ye ker?).
uiii batik mahal ler..tailoring lagi..KL rate u cant get less that RM 40..tp batik seragam???ohh no..disaster!hehehe.hhmm i THINK most of the building in ptjy especially new building yang byk glass wall tu is actually some sort of energy saving design..bcoz its allow natural lite to go in..so less la on kan lampu..but unlike janggeltrekker's room..hahaha..mmg takde view langsung..melainkan roommate ler!tp mmg mcm ntah aper2 kat bilik sebenarnya takde tingkap pun cuma glass wall..tingkap yg boleh bukak ada kat hallway je..too bad.
ReplyDeletebut kat bangi ada satu building yg guna concept zero energy iaitu di pusat tenaga malaysia..i've been there and they minimize the use of electricity..and they're storing sunlite energy..and they even reuse the rain water too!yesss..we cant compare other develop countries esp japan..the care for environment..its in their blood..and they're recycle freak!they loooveee and recycle almost everything...correct me if im wrong la. ive been to a rock concert pun diaorg still buat promotion to recycle water bottles and etc..in between performance. how cool..kalau concert mesia..habisss la mcm pasar malam ler!i rasa susah ler nak ubah msian style and they way malaysia look kalau individu takde kesedaran.
hahahahhaha..am i talking to much!!ooppss sorry!!! 'hentikan pencemaran!'
Aku setuju ulasan dari beatufillife tu, bilik aku memang hampeh, kalau korang -korang teringin nak merasa pegi Gua Niah, Gua Mulu, Gua Tempurung ke takpon Gua Tambun..ha dipersilakanlah melawat bilik ku yang seadanya itu ...huhuhuhu...
ReplyDeleteAbout Batik..aku tak suka pakai batik seragam!!! Macam budak sekolah asrama penuh pulak nanti, tengok je la baju batik seragam kat bangunan KBS sebelah tu, macam penyanyi nasyid je aku tengok diorang..TIDAK!!!!..
